As a newborn photographer in Visalia, California I am honored when parents choose to return for another newborn session when a new baby joins their family. Miranda's parents chose to capture a few family portraits and even included her 2 year old sibling. Both girls did amazing and it was fun capturing the gentle and loving interactions between these new siblings. The sisterly bond is already strong and I'm sure they'll both treasure these beautiful moments I caught as they continue to grow up together. Thanks to their Mom and Dad for returning and allowing me to share in capturing this precious memories that will soon become their most treasured family ...

Most of my sessions in the Visalia area are done in my studio where I can have control over the environment for brand new babies. Every once in a while though I have an opportunity to get outside and help a family celebrate something special in their lives. We had originally planned on meeting at a local park but when I saw that our valley's almond orchards were in bloom, I promptly contacted her parents to suggest we move the session. Of course they agreed and when they arrived for her session, were in awe of the beautiful location. I'm so glad ...

Miss Blair just turned 3 and had a ballerina birthday to celebrate. When Mom came in for her consultation she explained that she wasn't able to get any really pretty photos of Blair at her party and her wish was to capture some beautiful images at this stage of her life. Here are a few favorites we captured during her fun session which began with some posing and twirling and ended with some sweet contemplative images as she sat and sang and chatted with her Mom which is just around the corner out of sight.

To cancel or not to cancel? That was the question of the day. It was pouring rain all morning which turned into a slight drizzle by the time of the Clark family's session. I'm always game to give it a try whatever the conditions and with a brave Mom on board we decided to go for it. It was just one of those blessed moments where the rain literally stopped for the hour long session and then started up again right as we finished! Driving home it started to pour again and I was just marveling at how it had all worked out. We mostly had cloud cover which makes for very flat lighting but the sun did peak through a few times creating some beautiful sunny images ...
